Israel’s High Court held an important debate today that may shape the future of Israeli politics. The Court is considering whether or not to force Ultra-Orthodox political parties to allow women to run for office. Currently, the Ultra-Orthodox parties only permit men to be on the party ranking lists that determine who gets to serve in the Knesset.
