Give youth a chance

Who is really caring for Haredi youth?

Dropout rates among ultra-Orthodox youth are significantly higher than dropout rates of youth in the general population, yet there are still no appropriate solutions to the problem of at-risk Haredi youth This does not seem to be a top priority for our elected officials. In the absence of suitable solutions, boys and girls are thrown out of their homes and into the streets. Tova Boriah, the woman and the legend, and a social activist in the Nivcharot Movement, has been dealing with dropouts in the city of Bnei Brak for many years. She was recently interviewed by Yedioth Ahronot and spoke about her activities and reactions from the community.
