25 Haredi women recently completed Nivcharot’s Fifth Leadership Program that included 10 4-hour weekly sessions held from May to July. Participants in the course, aged 21-50, met with experts in the field of education, gender and law as well as leading social activists, and explored issues such as feminism and gender; women and the Israeli political arena; women and Halacha; women’s rights; and more.
In a moving letter to the Nivcharot organizing team the graduates wrote: "Thank you for the journey that we have taken with you over these past months. Thank you for the knowledge, the laughter, the sharing , the curiosity you have sparked in us and the flood of emotions we have experienced. Thank you for believing in us and encouraging us."
